White Friday 2026 ads plan for online stores
White Friday is the biggest sales season for Saudi online stores before Ramadan — and the most expensive ad week, because every store advertises at once. Stores that prepare early sell more at a lower cost. This is the plan we run with our clients' stores.
Three weeks before: build the audience
- Set up the pixel and purchase tracking on the store (Salla, Zid, Shopify) and confirm values reach the platforms.
- Start cheap reach and video-view campaigns to build an audience that knows your store.
- Collect numbers and e-mails of interested shoppers on a “first to know” list.
One week before: the teaser
- “Offer coming” ads retargeting people who engaged with your ads or visited the store.
- Prepare ads and designs in advance — reviews are slower during offer week.
Offer week: concentrate the budget
- Put most of the budget on retargeting and warm audiences — they convert best.
- Google for people searching your products by name; Snapchat and TikTok for short visual offers.
- Check return daily and pause any campaign that isn't covering its cost.
After the season: don't switch everything off
Customers who bought in the sale are a chance for a second purchase. Send them a special offer within two weeks and use their data to build lookalike audiences for Ramadan.
FAQ
When should I start White Friday ads?
Prepare tracking and audiences three weeks before, run teasers a week before, and spend the largest budget on the offer days themselves.
Should I raise the budget suddenly on offer day?
Better to raise it gradually through the week before — a sudden jump sends campaigns back into learning and raises costs.
